Some call us charismatic, some pentecostal. Others
refer to us as a full gospel church. Simply said, we are
Christians wanting to make a difference in our lives
and lives of others.  We welcome ALL people!

Founded in 1991, Crescendo is a chorus of
volunteer singing members and support staff who
sing in an effort to embrace diversity in our
community and bridge the gaps that are caused
by prejudices. Made up of women who represent a
variety of ages, ethnic heritages, religious
affiliations, political beliefs, and sexual identities,
we embrace all of our sisters who wish to sing.
Believing that music can help heal the world, we
sing with a common purpose. We sing to lift up
our communities.

We are an informal
committee that formed to
put on an annual queer
pride event in Daytona
Beach for the queer
communities of Volusia
and Flagler counties. We
are seeking to promote
self esteem and pride
among those individuals
who identify themselves
as gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transgender, and queer.
We also want to promote
tolerance, dialog,
understanding, and
friendship with people
who do not identify
themselves with the queer
community.

We are a socially oriented group,
made up of gay and lesbian couples
who are in committed relationships.
We get together to have a good time,
be ourselves in the fellowship of other
same-gendered couples, and to make
new friends. We are not a political
group, we are not a religious
organization, we are not a
partner-swapping sex club. We are a
group of gay & lesbian  couples that
enjoy getting together socially with
other gay & lesbian couples.
